The Stratosphere Las Vegas Hotel & Casino features three exciting thrill rides, and is the tallest free-standing observation tower in the area.
The Stratosphere Las Vegas Hotel & Casino has panoramic views of the Vegas Strip and nearby valley. It’s observation tower rises over 850 feet, equivalent to over 1,450 stairs or 108 stories. It jets up into the air 1,149 feet and is currently the tallest observation tower in the United States. It is also one of the most thrilling rides on the Las Vegas Strip.
For the adventurous thrill seeker at heart, here’s what you can experience on the three rides:
Big Shot - You’ll blast 160 feet straight up in the air at about 45 mph (over 4 Gs) up to 1,081 feet.
X-Scream - You’ll teeter-totter 27 feet over the edge of the Stratosphere Tower, 866 feet above the ground.
Insanity, the Ride - A large mechanical arm will spin you out about 64 feet over the edge of the Tower, and at a force of about 3 Gs.
Ride tickets are currently about $12-$13.
Tower tickets from $8 (child) - $13.95. Hotel guests receive discount prices, as do seniors and residents - tickets are about $10. They also offer XTREME Value Packages for the extreme adventurers that want to enjoy several more rides. It's a small price for some insane excitement, that’ll give you heart-pounding thrills.
