Tennis in Las Vegas, Nevada

While most of the resort hotels offer a fitness center, they do not all have a tennis court. There are four hotels in Las Vegas that do offer tennis courts. They are Bally’s and Flamingo that are both located on the Las Vegas Strip, The Hilton located on Paradise Road near the Convention Center, and The Plaza in Fremont.

Practice your backhand stroke on one of Bally’s championship-caliber tennis courts. Bally’s has eight tennis courts that are fully illuminated for night play. They offer experienced tennis professionals to provide private or group instruction on request. If you are interested in creating a tennis social event, private tournament and clinics can be arranged for corporate and convention guests.

Bally’s address is 3645 Las Vegas Blvd South, Las Vegas, NV 89109, or phone (877) 603-4390.

The Flamingo provides their guests opportunity to perfect their tennis skills at any of their four lighted tennis courts. The courts are located near their four swimming pools and surrounded by the lush foliage of their 15-acre tropical paradise. Adjacent to the tennis courts is a pro shop. In the pro shop at the Flamingo, you will find racquets, clothing, tennis related items, and other unique items such as racquet-shaped stationary and tennis ball watches. Players looking for expert instructions, can arrange for lessons from their staff of professional tennis players.

The Flamingo address is 3555 Las Vegas Blvd South, Las Vegas, NV 89109, or phone (702) 733-3111 or 800-732-2111.

The Las Vegas Hilton has a pro shop on site. In addition, you can rent equipment if you do not have your own. Racket rentals are about $10 per person, tennis balls at $5, private lessons at about $75 for guests, and court rental about $20 per hour for Hilton guests.

The Las Vegas Hilton also offers adult clinics for tennis players at the beginner and intermediate levels. The cost is about $25 per person.

The Las Vegas Hilton tennis courts are situated on their eight-acre rooftop recreation deck. The deck has multiple levels that include a heated outdoor pool, whirlpool, fitness center, walking track and the tennis courts.

Clowns in Las Vegas

There are a lot of clowns in Las Vegas. The real type with red nose, big shoes, painted face and funny clothes.

The Circus Circus Hotel and Casino has the majority of them in Las Vegas. All the resort hotels in Las Vegas are designed around a main theme. No doubt you can well guess the theme of Circus Circus.

They feature live world class circus acts at the Center Stage Carnival Midway. There are talented aerialists, high-wire walkers, trapeze artists and clown shows featured twice per hour from 11:00 am to midnight.

The Circus Circus also offers slot players a break from gaming to watch a sample of the amazing acts in the main casino. You don’t have to leave your seat on the casino floor. The show is performed high above your head. Best of all, their circus shows are free.

Circus Circus also has free clown shows in their Adventuredome.

If you stay at the hotel, you can enjoy the in-house clown channel on cable. I don’t know of any other hotel that has their own clown channel. Do you?

The carnival spirit is alive at the Rio Hotel and Casino on the north Las Vegas strip. Experience the excitement of Brazil's Carnivale Masquerade Show In The Sky. Another great free show.

The Masquerade Show in the Sky, at the Rio, features state-of-the-art floats that suspend from the ceiling above the casino floor. The show is colorful and electrifying. Performers are clad in exotic masks and brilliant costumes. They dance and celebrate to exciting music.

The magical fantasy floats glide high above the crowd to an orchestration of music, dance and celebration.

If you prefer to participate rather than watch, join the show! Float ride tickets may be purchased directly at the Rio box office and cost about $12.95 per person.

For a unique dining experience, visit The Osteria de Circo at Bellagio. The décor is whimsical, vibrant and colorfully designed with the excitement of a European carnival tent. They offer fine traditional Italian style Tuscan fare set with the elegance of a fine gourmet restaurant. The average meal pricing ranges at about $25 to $35. They have a large selection of over 900 fine imported wines to choose from. While there are no clowns here, Osteria de Circo brings the spirit of the carnival atmosphere to an exciting yet elegant dining experience level.
